The Restaurant

With a vibrant, continental feel, 2 Fore Street is a relaxed and stylish bistro-style restaurant on Mousehole harbour front with views across Mount's Bay as well as a beautiful secluded garden to enjoy long summer days. The menu changes regularly to reflect the freshest of local produce with an array of mouthwatering options from a hand-picked crab salad, to a delicious homemade burger to grilled lemon sole fillets with samphire. The perfect atmosphere for Sunday morning cup of coffee, lunch straight off the beach or to meet friends for dinner over a chilled glass of prosecco.

Gloriously unpretentious, the restaurant sits at right angles to the harbour, monopolising quite possibly the best views in Mousehole.

Serving fresh Cornish seafood (and meat dishes), a very friendly and modern restaurant. With small garden out the back for a chilled out lunch in the sun.

No.1 Millpool Deli/Store

No.1 Millpool Deli/Store

Winding just around the corner from our restaurant '2 Fore Street', situated in the Millpool courtyard, is our latest venture. A stylish deli/store sourcing our produce as locally as possible. Stocking an array of items to create your own dishes, including amazing local cheese, artisan bread, self-serve milk and seasonal fruit and vegetables together with store cupboard essentials. Serving fantastic takeaway coffee, pastries, sweet treats and savoury items through out the day for your coastal adventures. Our wine and beer bottle shop has something for everyone to complete your cosy evening in or celebrate in style.

Sitting in the shelter of Mounts Bay, some two and a half miles from Penzance, lies the historic fishing village of Mousehole, once described by Dylan Thomas as the loveliest in England although a few Cornishmen might dispute the English bit! Pronounced 'Mowzel', the village was recorded as early as 1266 and you get a real sense of timelessness as you wander the narrow streets, while the picturesque harbour offers a safe, sandy beach at low tide.
